My friend John Buckman (of Magnatune fame) just launched his new project: BookMooch

The idea behind BookMooch is pretty simple, yet quite powerful:

1. You list the books you want to give away on BookMooch.
2. When someone wants a book of yours, you send it to them and get credit for doing so.
3. Take your earned credits and request books you want from others.

This simple model could get many books moving around again -- how many books are you sitting on that you're not going to read again? If you're anything like me, tons -- go join BookMooch and list your books and get new books to read!

Now all I have to do is get the GF to participate so she can stop spending soo much money on books that last her an hour or two.
