Wireless hot spots elude the RIAA
Since its not required by law to keep track of who is using a hot spot for what activity, hot spots provide
great cover for people who want to illegally trade files. Walk in to a cafe, buy a coffee, download Buttney's new album and walk out the door -- that is one way to achieve reasonable file trading anonimity in this day and age.
But, that makes me wonder -- what are the ramifications for the people who operate hot spots? Can they use the DMCA's ISP safe harbor clause?
