The national do not call registry is LIVE. Check it out at http://www.donotcall.gov. Sign up to stop pesky telemarketers from calling you. Yeay!

For once the Government is doing something right.

Sigh. So much for the 'doing right' part. Looks like the worst phone spammers are actually exempt from this law, because the little guys are cutting in on their turf.

Looks like the same old BS then -- lets hope the consumers get really fed up when their phones don't stop ringing after Oct 1.
