Orrin Hatch is a total moron!

Senator Orrin Hatch from Utah (the Utah bit explains a lot, actually) thinks its ok to remotely destroy a computer if the users are illegally using copyrighted material. Never mind the bill of rights -- big media and Orrin Hatch, the (horrible) songwriter take precendence.

So, if that is not ludicrous enough, Boing Boing reports on a story that Hatch's website uses an unregistered copy of a JavaScript library, which is illegal and would make him a candidate for his own PC zapping bill. What an ass!

How do these people become elected into government? (Please don't answer that -- it is a rhetorical question!)
