Madonna's tactics backfire -- again
Madonna's futile
tactics
at protecting her latest release has backfired in more ways than one. She released tracks containing her
asking file traders 'What the fuck are you doing?' masked as tracks off her new album into P2P networks. People responded by hacking her site and replacing the tracks with the real tracks and also remixing her foul mouthing into several new and much cooler tracks.
The most hilarious part of this stunt is now becoming evident. Apparently Virginia has an anti-spam law called PROTECT:
Similarly, the PROTECT act makes it a federal crime to use a misleading domain name to trick people into viewing obscene materials or to trick children into viewing materials that are "harmful to minors."
Not only could Madonna be committing crimes in doing this, but she is surely creating tons of negative press and negative will towards her music. I don't plan to listen to her music anymore -- h wait, I never really did to begin with.
I hope that a thousand new creative and fresh artists with the proper attitude towards their fans will take her place.

"Not only could Madonna be commited crimes in doing this, but she... ."
Choose a tense. Either she could be committing crimes or she could have committed crimes.
